BREAKING NEWS: Squishmallows to Be Repurposed Into Dog Toys
In a shocking turn of events, Squishmallows, the ultra-soft and collectible plush toys, are officially being discontinued. Sources confirm that all remaining inventory is set to be destroyed, with the stuffing repurposed for use in a new line of dog toys.
According to an anonymous industry insider, this decision was made in an effort to reduce waste and promote sustainability. The stuffing will be used in a new pet toy line called “Chew Mees”, which promises to bring the same cuddly comfort to dogs everywhere.
“We’ve always wanted to create something special for pets, and this was the perfect opportunity,” a spokesperson for Jazwares stated.
The new Chew Mees toys will feature reinforced seams and crinkle linings to keep dogs entertained, while still maintaining the signature Squishmallow softness.
